At Spa Almaz, your satisfaction and comfort is our top priority. We will make every effort to provide you with a caliber of treatment and personal service that is unparalleled. The following are some guidelines that we hope will help enhance your visit with us.

Setting the stage for a great experience:
Be sure to talk to your technician about areas of your body that are injured, sore or tense. Mention any medical conditions such as pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart problems, headaches, varicose veins or recent surgery. Also, if you have any type of infectious disease such as a cold or flu, or a skin rash, it is important that you tell us before all services as it may increase the health risk or discomfort you may experience.

Spa Etiquette:
The spa is a tranquil oasis for all who may enter. Please respect the silence and privacy of others by speaking softly throughout the spa and turning your cellular phones and pagers off.
Please join us 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to check in, complete intake form, change into your robe and become acquainted with our unique facility. Should you be arriving later than expected, keep in mind that appointments begin and end on time in order to accommodate all our guests in a prompt fashion. Please allow 5 to 10 minutes transition time between each service.

Children:
To maintain a serene atmosphere, we ask that you not bring children under the age of 12 to the Spa with the exception of those coming for Mother And Little Princess packages treatments specified for younger children. All children under 18 must have an adult sign the initial consultation form.

What to wear during treatment:
Upon arrival, you will be given a day-use locker key, a cozy robe, and a pair of slippers for your use while visiting the Spa. Robes and slippers are available for purchase. If you are having a hydrotherapy treatment, you may wish to bring a bathing suit, or use the disposable underwear we provide. Most spa services will disrupt your hair and make-up. You may wish to schedule a  make-up application or bring your own personal items and use our facility. Please remember to check your locker and robe pockets before leaving. The Spa is not responsible for items left behind. Again, we want to make sure that you are comfortable, so please let us know if you have questions.

Courtesy:
It is customary for your technician to escort you to your treatment room and briefly step out to allow you a moment to disrobe. For your privacy you will be professionally draped with linens the entire service. Our technicians are very attentive, but at any moment feel free to communicate comments or suggestions that may better serve you. Additionally, in the spa, silence can be golden and provide a relaxing and meditative atmosphere. If you feel like chatting, we'll chat. But if you want to escape in silence, we wholeheartedly support you.!

Gratuities:
Your Spa treatment fee does not include gratuities. A customary gratuity is 15% to 20%; however, gratuities are at the discretion of our guest. Gift Certificates do not include gratuities. Special requirements apply to group bookings. Our Spa Coordinator can provide guidelines if you like.

Returned checks:
If a check is refused by the bank, we will assess a $25 service charge.

Product returns or exchanges:
We will gladly accept any retail product return for store credit as long as the return is within 30 days of purchase and is accompanied by proof of purchase.

Groups:
Spa Almaz specializes in group functions, whether they are business-related, wedding parties, family reunions, or ladies' day at the Spa with your friends. Ask to speak to with our Group Coordinator for more information.

Our trained therapist and estheticians are here solely to help improve your health, body, and psyche. If a therapist ever feels that a guest is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately.

Gift Certificates:
Spa Almaz Gift Certificates are as beautiful to give as they are to receive. Gift Certificates are available for any treatment and/or retail product. Gift Certificates are non-refundable, non-transferable. If service packages are modified, credit is give for value of gift certificate.
